We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our Small family ran business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using hand and power tools for the maintenance and repair of various vehicles. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Perform maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations. Utilise schematics and technical manuals to assist in the assembly and repair of vehicle components. Execute equipment repair tasks, ensuring all work is compliant with safety regulations. Operate hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair and maintenance activities. Engage in heavy lifting as required during the repair process, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicles condition and required services. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance and repair. Familiarity with schematics and ability to interpret technical documents. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to vehicle repair tasks. Strong commitment to safety practices, particularly when handling equipment and performing heavy lifting. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about technical issues.
