Bodyshop Estimator / VDA Estimator\n\nLocations: Croydon\n\nJob Type: Full-time, Office-Based\n\nHours: Monday - Friday, 08:00-17:00\n\nSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)\n\nAbout the Role\n\nWe are looking for an experienced Bodyshop Estimator / VDA Estimator to join our accident repair centres in Croydon or Whitstable. This is a full-time, office-based position where you will complete accurate vehicle damage assessments and deliver a high level of customer service.\n\nYou will produce an average of five estimates per day, working closely with customers, engineers, technicians, and insurers to ensure an efficient repair process.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProduce accurate and detailed accident repair estimates using Audatex and other industry-standard systems.\nComplete an average of 5 estimates per day in line with insurer and company standards.\nAssess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs in collaboration with bodyshop engineers and technicians.\nCommunicate professionally with customers regarding repair needs, costs, and timelines.\nLiaise with insurance engineers to obtain approvals and resolve estimate queries.\nMaintain compliance with repair, safety, and insurer guidelines.\nEnsure all documentation, job files, and estimate records are accurate and up to date.\nSupport efficient workflow throughout the bodyshop and coordinate with the production team. \n\nSkills & Experience Required\n\nProven experience as a Bodyshop Estimator, VDA Estimator, or similar role (essential).\nAudatex estimating experience is essential.\nATA VDA accreditation preferred but not mandatory for strong applicants.\nStrong knowledge of accident repair processes and industry standards.\nExcellent communication skills, with confidence when talking to customers and engineers.\nAbility to work to daily estimation targets and deadlines.\nHigh accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organisational skills.
