Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Group VAT Manager to join a growing international business. This role will take ownership of VAT technical support, compliance across multiple territories, and driving improvements to the Group's VAT control framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide VAT technical guidance across the business (rates, partial exemption, rebates, acquisitions)

  • Oversee and review VAT returns prepared by the VAT team

  • Manage and improve the VAT control framework, ensuring MTD compliance

  • Support key projects including ERP implementation, M&A, and restructuring initiatives

  • Partner with stakeholders across multiple countries and external advisors

About You

  • Qualified - ACCA/ACA/CTA

  • Strong VAT technical background with several years' post-qualification experience

  • Experience across multi-territory VAT (practice or industry)

  • Confident communicator able to explain complex technical issues

  • Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement

  • Comfortable working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
