The Best Connection Group - Manchester are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative (With a Counterbalance licence)/ Van Driver for one of our clients based in TRAFFORD on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career with a stable company who has been running for 40+ years

Working Days:

Mon-Fri,
37.5 hour week

Working Hours:

9am-5pm with a 30 minute unpaid break

Salary/Rate of Pay:

£13.45 per hour
Annual basic salary £26,227.50

Key Responsibilities:

This role is expected to be a 60/40 split between Warehouse work ( incl Counterbalance work ) and Van Driving

Driver Responsibilities:

Complete local deliveries and collections in a company vehicle (Sprinter Van).
Load the van accordingly prior to delivery
Liaise with customers upon arrival Warehouse Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operating a Forklift truck
Safe loading and unloading of vehicles
Picking and packing
Taking part in stock counts
General housekeeping activities to keep the warehouse clean and tidy Requirements:

Has a full UK drivers licence (Max 3 points insurance purposes)
Has a counterbalance forklift licence (No in-house tickets)
Warehouse and Van Driving experience
A full UK driving licence held for at least 3 years for insurance purposes
Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
