Van Driver

New Today

Do you want to be a valued part of the critical infrastructure that serves communities across Europe and beyond? Are you looking for a position in which you can keep things moving and deliver when it matters most? If so, then you could be the newest addition to our team as Van Driver.

Be part of the movement – and play your part.

About the role

As a Van Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fresh and frozen fish products reach restaurants, fishmongers, and other businesses across the region on time and in perfect condition. You’ll be working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday on a consistent shift from 2:00pm to approximately 01:00am (finish times may vary depending on route completion).

You will be responsible for the collection, safe handling, and delivery of seafood products, working to strict hygiene standards and time sensitive schedules to meet customer expectations.

You will be responsible for:

Driving a refrigerated van on multi-drop delivery routes to various commercial customers

Loading and unloading fresh and frozen fish products

Ensuring all deliveries are completed in line with hygiene and temperature control requirements

Accurately completing delivery paperwork and using handheld scanners

Liaising with dispatch and customer service teams to resolve delivery queries

Performing daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any issues

You’ll be joining a dedicated team of van drivers, supported by a hands-on transport manager who understands the importance of food logistics and night operations. You’ll be driving refrigerated vans, specifically fitted for chilled and frozen transport, with built-in temperature monitoring systems and ergonomic loading features to help with heavier deliveries.

About you

You’ll need a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and at least 6 months of van driving experience in a similar multi-drop or regional delivery role. A good geographical understanding of the UK and comfort with night time driving is essential.

We think the strongest teams are built on diversity and inclusivity. Contrasting opinions, varied skills and strong characters bring out the best in us all. And we cannot wait for you to join.
