Validation Engineer – MHEV / Hybrid Powertrain\n\nWe are recruiting a Validation Engineer to support MHEV and hybrid powertrain systems across system validation, fault diagnosis and vehicle testing activities. This is a hands-on engineering role suited to candidates with strong experience in ICE and mild hybrid propulsion systems.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\n * System-level validation and verification of ICE and MHEV powertrain systems\n\n * Fault diagnosis and issue resolution at vehicle and system level\n\n * Supporting vehicle build, PIL and test activities\n\n * Creation of DVPs, test cases, procedures and requirements\n\n * Use of diagnostic and data analysis tools including INCA, CANalyzer, Corvus, MATLAB, PicoScope and MDA\n\n * Working in rig, lab and vehicle test environments\n\n * Applying systems engineering and structured problem-solving approaches\n\nEssential experience:\n\n * Validation or testing experience within automotive powertrain, propulsion or hybrid systems\n\n * Knowledge of ICE, MHEV or hybrid vehicle systems\n\n * Hands-on use of INCA and/or CANalyzer\n\n * Experience with vehicle testing, system validation or powertrain integration\n\n * Strong fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills\n\nDesirable:\n\n * Experience with Agile or Scrum, JIRA\n\n * Electrical engineering or battery system awareness\n\n * Six Sigma or structured problem-solving methods\n\nThis role suits engineers who enjoy hands-on validation, cross-functional working and solving complex technical issues in a fast-paced automotive environment.\n\nApply now to discuss the role in confidence
