Job Title: UX Designer (Automotive Digital Interfaces) Location: Gaydon, UK (Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite + quarterly 3–4 day planning events) Contract Type: Permanent (Sponsorship not provided)

Role Purpose: Design intuitive, high-quality user interfaces for JLR’s in-vehicle systems (e.g., instrument clusters, touchscreens, voice/gesture controls) using human-centered principles. Ensure alignment with industry standards, usability guidelines, and JLR’s Design System.

Key Responsibilities: UX/UI Design: Translate operational requirements into elegant, testable interfaces using Figma (prototyping, components, auto-layout). Design for driving-task safety, consistency, and accessibility. Design System Collaboration: Work within JLR’s Figma-based component library, identifying gaps and proposing new components.
