Join our team as a Freelance Soccer Analyst specializing in USA – Major League Soccer (MLS). This role is ideal for journalists, bloggers, analysts, or anyone with strong, hands-on knowledge of the MLS landscape. We are looking for someone who can deliver accurate, insightful, and timely match previews, working remotely with full flexibility. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed and well-structured previews for each MLS match, following our internal guidelines
• Stay up to date with MLS developments, including team news, tactical trends, player availability, and league-specific dynamics
• Quickly source and analyse confirmed line-ups once they are released
• Apply league-specific insight, including travel factors, scheduling congestion, and squad rotation typical to MLS

Requirements:

• Strong and proven understanding of Major League Soccer (MLS) teams, tactics, and league structure
• Good analytical, writing, and reporting skills
• Availability around MLS match times (including evenings and weekends, depending on fixtures)
• Ability to gather reliable information quickly and accurately
• Knowledge of soccer betting markets is a plus; previous experience as a bettor or tipster is highly valued
