Your New Role:
Support SEN students day-to-day – Assist with academic tasks, social interaction, and routines to help each child feel confident, included, and valued.
Work closely with professionals – Collaborate with teachers and specialists to develop and deliver personalised education plans (IEPs) that truly meet individual needs.
Provide emotional and behavioural support – Foster a calm, nurturing environment where every student feels safe, supported, and ready to learn.
Build strong relationships – Act as a bridge between students, staff, and families, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
Track progress and share insights – Monitor student development and provide feedback that helps
About you:
Experience with children — ideally including those with SEND, in or out of school settings.
Passionate and driven — dedicated to improving outcomes for children and young people.
️ Safeguarding aware — fully understands the vital importance of keeping children safe.
Clear purpose — able to articulate why you’re pursuing a career in education and the key role of a Teaching Assistant.
