OverviewUniversity Preparation Maths Teacher role at EF is a part-time teaching position for the University Preparation (UP) Programme. EF International Language Campus Oxford is looking for part-time teachers, teaching Maths at AS/A-Level (KS3/KS4).Position DetailsStart: 24/11/25Part-time role46 hours per fortnight (6 h 40 min up to 20h of class time per week, depending on terms)EF campus located minutes away from Oxford Brookes campusResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging Maths classes to UP studentsIf qualifications/previous experience allow, teach other specialist modules (Physics and/or Accounting)Plan and prepare lessons using EF’s curriculum and blended learning approachTrack student attendance, assess progress, and provide regular feedbackFacilitate testing and maintain academic recordsParticipate in teacher briefings, staff meetings, and professional development sessionsContribute to a positive and collaborative academic team environmentSupport students in achieving their learning goals through tutorials and guidanceThe ideal teacherHold a BA in the relevant subject to teach MathsTeach Physics/Accounting where appropriateTeaching or tutoring experience in any settingTEFL/CELTA qualification (desirable but not essential)Passionate, professional, dynamic, enthusiastic and flexibleHighly motivated, proactive, and positive, with a keen sense of initiativeKeen interest in up-to-date teaching methodology and developmentsAble to encourage a positive and sharing attitude to classroom and professional issuesSensitive to students’ academic and welfare needsRight to work in the UK at commencement of employmentClean background check and two referencesWhy You’ll Love Working with EFInternational environment with diverse students and staffOngoing professional development and career growth opportunitiesSocial events and staff communitySupportive and innovative teaching environmentWealth of teaching resources and curriculumEmployee assistance programAccess to EF Hello language learningEF is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
