Tutor / Teacher – SEND & SEMH
Wigan

Flexible Hours | Immediate Starts | £28 per hour

Integra Education is recruiting Tutors and Teachers to support children and young people in Wigan who are disengaged from mainstream education. With over 15 years’ experience working alongside schools and local authorities across the UK, we provide tailored education packages for pupils with SEND, SEMH needs, and those requiring alternative provision.

The Tutor / Teacher Role

* Deliver 1:1 or small-group tuition to pupils with SEND and/or SEMH needs

* Teach English, Maths and/or Science across KS3 and KS4

* Support pupils in a range of settings including schools, homes and community venues

* Plan and deliver structured, engaging sessions aligned with the UK National Curriculum

* Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning, emotional and behavioural needs

* Build positive, consistent relationships to help pupils re-engage with education

What We’re Looking For

* Qualified Teachers or Tutors (QTS, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent – prefered)

* Experience working with SEND and/or SEMH learners

* Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum

* Confident delivering English and Maths (Science or other subjects desirable)

* Calm, patient and flexible approach

* Ability to work independently and manage your own sessions

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

* Access to your own transport
