We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic tutors to join our team. Successful candidates will provide essential support to primary and secondary pupils across Rhondda, working within environments committed to delivering outstanding education and opportunities for all learners. We are currently recruiting full-time tutors.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for proactive and committed tutors who are passionate about inspiring learners and upholding high educational standards. Tutors will deliver personalised support in core subjects, study skills, well-being, and pastoral care. Strong proficiency in Mathematics and Literacy is essential, as some pupils will be preparing for their GCSE examinations.
All tutoring sessions are conducted on a one-to-one basis. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure consistent adherence to established procedures within this personalised learning environment.
Key Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this role
Level 3 qualification or coaching certification related to education (desirable, but not essential)
Experience in learning support roles, including skills development, pastoral care, and well-being support (desirable)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with a proven ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively
Demonstrated commitment to learner support and well-being, adopting an inclusive, learner-centred approach
Confident communicator, able to engage effectively with young people, parents, external organisations and educational staff
