On Track Education provides specialist education for young people with diverse and complex needs. Established in 2004 by a dedicated team of Special Educational Needs (SEN) teachers, we now operate eight independent schools across England. At the heart of our philosophy is a commitment to providing a nurturing, personalised, and needs-led educational experience, aiming to restore young people's self-confidence and self-motivation through flexible programmes that combine academic, vocational, and outdoor learning opportunities.
On Track Advance delivers a Post-16 programme designed to provide a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students can excel academically, grow personally, and prepare for their future lives. We foster skills such as critical thinking, creativity, resilience, and teamwork. With a strong focus on social and emotional development, the school adopts trusting, respectful relationships between staff and pupils, forming the foundation for meaningful progress. Its motivational and progressive curriculum is underpinned by the therapeutic principles of THRIVE, supporting each young person's emotional wellbeing alongside academic achievement.
Due to expansion, we are looking for a Part-time Cookery and Childcare Tutor. A Qualified Teacher is preferred but consideration will be given to education professionals with other teaching qualifications who have experience of teaching. You must have experience of working with young people in an SEN environment and be p assionate about the social and emotional wellbeing of children. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the pupils is essential.
