We are recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised engineering organisation specialising in combustion and environmental solutions across oil & gas, petrochemical, power and heavy industrial sectors.Due to continued growth across EMEA, the Global Field Services Turnarounds (TAR) division is expanding and looking to appoint an experienced Turnaround Project Engineer to support international shutdown projects.About the RoleThe Turnaround Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting the growth of the Service and Turnaround (TAR) business across the EMEA region.This is a field-service-led position where the Turnaround Project Engineer will lead turnaround projects and work with the wider team to provide customers with combined service and parts solutions on a turnkey basis.Projects typically run 24 weeks (occasionally up to 6 weeks). Between assignments, the Turnaround Project Engineer will be based at the Stamford facility supporting planning, technical preparation and sales support.Applicants must be UK-based and within 1 hour of Stamford (LE15 7QT).The RoleAs a Turnaround Project Engineer, you will:Lead plant shutdown and turnaround (TAR) projects across EMEAConduct pre-turnaround site surveys and inspectionsDevelop technical findings reports and support commercial bidsPrepare RAMS, schedules, inspection sheets and mobilisation plansReview manpower, tooling and spare parts requirementsProvide hands-on mechanical and electrical support when requiredCoordinate expedited parts during live shutdownsMaintain full project documentation including timesheets and technical reportsIdentify additional service, upgrade and parts opportunitiesSupport growth of the global turnaround services capabilityThe Turnaround Project Engineer will work across combustion systems including:Flare systemsFlare gas recoveryProcess and power burnersThermal oxidisersBoiler burnersBurner Management Systems (BMS)Associated pollution control equipmentWhat Were Looking ForEssentialMechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Controls engineering backgroundField service, maintenance or practical engineering experienceExperience supporting or leading plant shutdowns / turnaroundsStrong ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsConfident communicator (operators through to senior management)Full UK driving licence and valid passportWillingness to travel internationally for up to 6 weeksDesirableOil & gas, petrochemical, power or process industry experienceCombustion equipment experience (flares, burners, incinerators, BMS)Level 3+ engineering qualificationCommercial awarenessWhats In It For YouSalary up to £60,000 DOEAnnual performance bonus + Christmas bonus12% employer pension contribution27 days holiday + bank holidaysBUPA private healthcareStructured product and safety training (CCNSG etc.)Clear long-term progression within a global engineering organisationInternational travel across EMEAHigh-autonomy, project-led engineering roleThis is a rare opportunity for a technically strong Turnaround Project Engineer who enjoys live industrial shutdowns, international travel and leading from the front while playing a direct role in growing a specialist turnaround service offering across EMEA.JBRP1_UKTJ
