Job Title: Tube Bending Setter Rate: £16:08 per hour PAYE Contract Duration: 9 months Location: Coventry Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tube Bending Setter to support our manufacturing operations in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating both manual and automated tube bending machinery, ensuring parts are produced to a high standard in line with engineering drawings, quality specifications, and production schedules. Key Responsibilities Set and operate manual and automated tube bending machinery Perform machine checks at the start of each shift to ensure safe and efficient operation Read and interpret engineering drawings to a high standard and apply them effectively in production Use appropriate engineering measuring equipment commensurate with the role Check parts for non-conformances and visual defects Carry out own inspection checks (OSV) to QES810-77 standard Work to, and adhere to, production schedules in an efficient and timely manner Inform the Team Leader of any major problems with machines, tooling, or quality Stamp route cards and ensure all work conforms to relevant quality specifications Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and events
