The trustees of the Valerie Evelyn Morant trust are seeking additional trustees.

The trust is a charitable trust established by the will of Valerie Morant. This trust's objectives are as follows:-

• The promotion of arts education and research (with particular emphasis on pre — nineteenth century visual arts) for the benefit of the people of East Sussex and the London Boroughs of Haringey and Barnet.

• Projects for the advancement of medical research and education into and the alleviation of suffering arising from gastro-intestinal disorders (particularly bowel disorders) for the benefit of the people of East Sussex and the London Boroughs of Haringey and Barnet.

• Projects for the maintenance and improvement of maritime and coastal search and rescue services for the benefit of the people of East Sussex.

This is a voluntary role. The new trustees would preferably have experience relating to one or more of the above objectives. Experience of the charity sector would also be beneficial.
