Base pay range The Treasury Manager will oversee and manage cash flow, liquidity, financial risk and various strategic initiatives within the Housing sector. They will also lead a small team consisting of one direct report and 3 indirect staff. Our client is a well‑established organisation within the Housing sector, known for its professional environment and focus on delivering exceptional results. Play a key leadership role in a high‑profile Treasury function, taking full ownership of day‑to‑day operations within a large, complex organisation. Have direct influence over liquidity and cashflow strategy, ensuring the organisation is well‑funded while optimising returns on surplus cash. Gain exposure to a substantial and diverse debt portfolio, overseeing timely capital and interest payments across multiple funding instruments. Lead and shape system, process and service improvements, with the opportunity to strengthen controls, improve efficiency and leave a lasting operational legacy. Act as a central figure in month‑end and audit processes, working closely with senior finance stakeholders and external auditors. Operate within a well‑established control framework, with scope to enhance documentation, governance and best‑practice Treasury operations.
Profile A successful Treasury Manager should have:
A professionally qualified treasury or finance professional (ACT, CIMA, AMCT, ACCA or equivalent) looking to apply their expertise in a complex, purpose‑driven organisation. A people‑focused leader with experience developing others through coaching, performance management and on‑the‑job training. Proven experience running day‑to‑day Treasury operations within a fast‑paced finance or treasury environment, with confidence across cash, payments and controls. A track record of improving processes, service delivery or commercial outcomes, with the ability to spot opportunities and drive change. Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, comfortable influencing and presenting to audiences at different levels of the organisation. Highly organised and resilient, able to balance competing priorities and deliver accurate, high‑quality outputs under time pressure. Experience with TMS systems and strong Excel capability, with hands‑on experience of treasury and finance platforms and an appetite for using data to improve decision‑making.
Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £70,000 to £80,000 per annum. Flexible working with 2-3 days in the office. Opportunity to work in a professional and supportive environment within the Housing sector. Benefits package to be determined.
