This is a dual-role position supporting the race team during the Formula 1® season and providing operational cover at the factory when not traveling. The role involves managing parts and equipment at trackside, assisting with pit stop operations, and supporting both Main Stores and Parts Dispatch, including occasional van runs.
Race Season (Traveling):
Set up and manage the travelling parts store at race events
Receive, issue, and track parts used during race weekends
Assist with pit stop operations (e.g. tyre handling, equipment readiness)
Support garage setup and teardown
Help with packing and shipping parts to and from events
When Not Traveling (Factory-Based):
Main Stores Cover:
Support goods-in and goods-out processes
Carry out stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy
Organize and store parts safely and efficiently
Assist with occasional van runs for local collections and deliveries
Parts Dispatch Support:
Pick, pack, and dispatch parts for internal and external use
Prepare shipments for events and customer deliveries
Ensure all dispatch documentation is accurate and complete
Requirements
Driven by high performance What do you need to bring to the team?
Experience in stores, warehouses, or logistics roles
Good attention to detail and organization
Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines
Forklift license and manual handling experience preferred
Full UK driving licence required
Willing to travel and work flexible hours during race season
