Job Description

Are you a Transport Solution Designer seeking development and progression with a global leading brand? In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative transport solutions that deliver value, efficiency, and sustainability for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Development: Analyze customer requirements and operational data to create robust, cost-effective transport and distribution solutions, including network modeling, fleet optimization, and technology integration.
2. Data-Driven Analysis: Use analytical skills to interpret complex data, identify trends, and model transport scenarios to inform your designs.
3. Costing & Commercial Acumen: Develop detailed cost models and commercial proposals ensuring solutions are financially viable and provide strong ROI.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams, operations managers, and clients to understand needs and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
5. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize operations, improve efficiencies, and enhance service levels.
6. Innovation & Best Practice: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and logistics best practices.
7. Project Support: Support projects from concept through implementation and review.

Requirements

• Proven experience in transport or logistics solution design, preferably in a 3PL environment.
• Strong analytical and data modeling skills, proficiency with tools like Paragon software and Excel.
• Understanding of transport operations, carrier management, network planning, and legislation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commercial mindset with experience in developing costings and proposals.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
