Transport Road Planner (Road Transport) will train you to gain your cpc licence Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 Location: Global Logistics Organisation Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible between 8:00am - 6:00pm (your choice) Acorn by Synergie are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join a global organisation within the logistics and transport planning sector. This role supports the Senior Traffic Operator in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transport services and delivering an exceptional experience to our customers. Key Responsibilities: Manage a dedicated fleet of drivers and vehicles, with a focus on maximising revenue performance. Support all aspects of customer transport requirements. Communicate effectively with internal drivers and transport partners. Allocate and coordinate Subcontractor Transport Suppliers. Build and schedule loads as needed to meet service expectations. Ensure all transport activities meet customer lead time and delivery standards. Accurately input job details into our logistics software (ADVANTAGE). Provide cover for key team members during absences (training will be provided). Take part in the out-of-hours on-call rota. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational needs.
