Im currently recruiting for an Operations Assistant to join a busy and fast-paced depot based on Wrexham Industrial Estate.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, coordinating logistics, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up new customer contracts on the internal system
- Arranging bin deliveries and removals
- Planning and coordinating vehicle routes
- Liaising with drivers and customers on a daily basis
- Rerouting vehicles when required to resolve operational issues
- Maintaining accurate records and updating management systems
- Supporting with general office and administrative duties
What were looking for:
- Experience working in a fast-paced transport or logistics office (planning/routing vehicles is highly desirable)
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organised xbpsjku with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well as part of a team
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 1 in 6 Saturdays
