Operations Assistant Wrexham Industrial Estate
Full Time | 40 hours per week
Temp to Perm

£25,000-£26,000

Im currently recruiting for an Operations Assistant to join a busy and fast-paced depot based on Wrexham Industrial Estate.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, coordinating logistics, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up new customer contracts on the internal system
  • Arranging bin deliveries and removals
  • Planning and coordinating vehicle routes
  • Liaising with drivers and customers on a daily basis
  • Rerouting vehicles when required to resolve operational issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating management systems
  • Supporting with general office and administrative duties

What were looking for:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced transport or logistics office (planning/routing vehicles is highly desirable)
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well as part of a team

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 1 in 6 Saturdays
