Due to continued growth, investment and expansion, our client is strengthening its transport and logistics operation and is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their team.

Job Role :
As a Transport Planne r, you will be a key part of the logistics function, ensuring the efficient planning and coordination of daily transport operations while supporting the companys ambitious operational and long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule drivers and vehicles in line with operational demand
Monitor fleet movements to ensure delivery and performance targets are achieved
Build strong working relationships with drivers, warehouse teams and customers
Optimise route planning for efficiency, compliance and cost-effectiveness
Ensure all transport plans meet legal, safety and operational standards
Resolve live transport challenges and adapt plans where required
Contribute to ongoing improvements within the transport operation
Must ensure all drivers are aware of SAFED
What Were Looking For:
Previous experience in transport planning or logistics coordination
Strong geographical knowledge and route planning capability
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to perform in a fast-moving, evolving environment
Strong organisational and problem-solving mindset
Competent using Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office
