A Leading Transport company based in Dover, require a new EU Transport Planner to help them continue to grow a good Salary is on offer for the right minded candidate at a range of £36-38,000 Dependant on Experience.
You will be working Monday to Friday. Good progression options and growth for the future is on offer as well.
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transport Planner to join our team. The Transport Planner will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing transportation activities to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a strong understanding of transportation regulations and logistics processes.
Responsible for resourcing and effectively forward planning all company resource, utilising Company and/or third-party resources when required. Effectively managing vehicle utilisation and ensuring drivers are given clear and precise instructions in a timely and efficient manner
Ensuring that all service levels are met cost effectively and within the constraints of drivers' hours and Health & Safety regulations, whilst meeting all customer requirements
