Transport Planner Worksop 4 on 4 off £30,000 - £35,000 Our client are continuing to expand and we are currently seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their day shift team. This is a great opportunity to secure a stable role with excellent development prospects in a supportive working environment. You will help ensure the smooth running of our transport operation for a major client and recognised brand. Role Responsibilities: Manage the Planning Email communication with senior planners. Support senior planners with requested activity, to include contacting drivers or subcontractors, communicating plans to drivers/subcontractors (this list is not exhaustive). Plan execution and communicating issues to relevant senior planner and customer services. Debrief drivers to ensure actual times, trailer no's and demurrage are recorded in line with expectations. Support senior planners with driver hours and timesheet management. Dispatch drivers in line with load requirements and driver's hours Complete thorough driver briefings and debriefs Monitor all on-site haulier activity and update relevant systems Key Skills Must have knowledge of TMS or demonstrate experience and systems knowledge.
