We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport Planner for an exciting permanent opportunity in Telford.
MUST HAVE MINIMUM 2 YEARS TRANSPORT PLANNING EXPERIENCE

* £32,000-£35,000 salary depending on experience
* Permanent position
Job overview:
* Build daily collection plans together with other transport planners to maximise vehicle utilisation and reduce empty miles.
* Plan trunking and pallet network activity, including manifesting, departures, timing, and updates. Monitor the operation live and re-plan quickly when delays or changes hit.
* Chase shortages and late collections, update stakeholders, and protect service levels by liaising with drivers, hubs, subcontractors and internal teams.
* Use planning data to identify improvements in route efficiency and daily performance, and deliver clear shift handovers.
* Very busy operation at times, someone who isn’t going to stress under pressure
