Transport Planner\n\nLocation: Reading with hybrid working\n\nSalary: 30k - 40k dependent on experience \n\nEmtech are working with a growing Transport & Infrastructure consultancy who are looking for a Transport Planner with at least 1 years industry experience to join their team in Birmingham city centre. In this role you will be working in a growing transport team with a 5 year plan in place to double the team size offering staff the chance to move into more senior roles. This role will give you the chance to take on project running responsibility with support from experienced team members.\n\nProjects exist across residential, commercial, education, healthcare and mixed use developments schemes.\n\nIdeally you will have some of the following experience: \n\nExperience in private sector development planning projects including the production of Transport Assessments and Travel Plans\nExperience in public sector facing transport planning projects\nAn understanding of the planning process in England\nExperience of public sector governance processes and working in a political environment\nExperience in the production of, and providing advice regarding, transport strategies and policies\nKnowledge and experience of applying government policy and guidance to projects\nExcellent communication skills and interface with clients\nExperience with AutoCAD and junction design software would be useful but not essential\n Apply today to be considered for this opportunity with a growing transport planning consultancy based in the city centre
