Acorn by Synergie is searching for a Transport Operations Administrator on behalf of a client in Manningtree.
Job purpose: To support the Traffic team and other departments by responding and resolving customer enquiries together with supporting general administration duties.
Candidate requirements:
Excellent communication and good telephone manner. Ability to work autonomously but with a team environment. A meticulous attention to detail, and an enquiring nature is required to identify potential issues. A reliable, tolerant and flexible personality is required. Must be able to accept responsibility of tasks undertaken and to adapt to changing priorities. Adaptable and able to deal with change. Dealing and responding to customer enquiries with resolution or escalation. Liaising daily with customers to report status of bookings. Driver job tracking and delivery time / late vehicle reporting. Dealership delivery notification reporting. Liaising with the Traffic Allocation team and Transport Drivers re their work and answering queries.
