Location: Chesterfield Salary: £50,000.00 + bonus and benefits

Summary: An experienced, customer focused and data led Transport Manager is required to ensure that the highest standards of quality, efficiency, compliance and service are delivered across this multi-site operation. You will be managing an in-house fleet of vehicles and drivers as well as a large 3PL contract delivering to retailers. Must have a CPC.

Key Responsibilities: Lead a high performing team, conduct performance management and develop a succession planning strategy Drive continuous improvement and innovation in transport operations Implement internal audits and compliance assessments Manage and control the transport budget Drive cost saving initiatives Optimise transport planning using data driven insights and enhance route efficiency and vehicle utilisation Hold the Operator Licence and ensure full regulatory compliance Monitor 3PL contract
