Job Title: Transport Manager

Location: Doncaster

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Hours: Monday - Friday

Stafforce Recruitment are currently supporting the hire of an experienced Transport Manager for a leading UK manufacturing and distribution business. You will take full responsibility for managing an in-house transport operation, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day in-house transport operations
Ensure full compliance with O Licence and transport legislation
Lead and support a team of drivers and transport staff
Plan routes and optimise fleet efficiency
Monitor KPIs including cost, performance, and service levels
Oversee driver compliance, training, and tachograph rules
Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

Proven in-house Transport Manager experience (essential)
Valid CPC qualification (essential)
Strong knowledge of UK transport compliance and regulations
Experience managing fleets and driver teams
Strong leadership and organisational skills
