Position: Transport Manager Location: Worcester Salary: £35,000 - £42,000Our client is seeking an experienced Transport Manager to support the efficient running of their busy transport operation based in Worcester. Working closely with the Transport Office Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring fleet compliance, operational efficiency, and adherence to all transport and health & safety legislation.This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and a proactive approach to managing fleet operations and supporting day-to-day transport activities.Job OverviewManage the fleet to ensure full compliance with all relevant transport legislationOversee vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring regular audits and adherenceMonitor and implement any changes in transport legislationEnsure all Health & Safety standards are met within the departmentAct as the main point of contact for motor insurance mattersCheck and manage daily vehicle defect reportsEnsure all vehicles are correctly licensed, registered, and insuredCoordinate vehicle scheduling across the site for maintenance and repairsSupport the Transport Office Manager with daily operational requirementsOccasional travel to the Wales depot as requiredUndertake any additional duties in line with business needsJob RequirementsMinimum 1 year's experience in a Transport Management roleCPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) in Road Haulage (International)Strong understanding of transport legislation and health & safety requirementsProven experience within transport or logistics environmentsStrong analytical, planning, and organisational skillsAbility to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced settingFlexible approach to working hours in line with operational demandsFull UK Driving LicenceSalary & Benefits£35,000 - £42,000Monday to Friday - Rotating shift pattern:10:00am - 7:00pm8:00am - 5:00pmFull-time, permanent positionOn-site role based in Worcester Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.We are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy, and in accordance with GDPR by applying you are granting us consent to process your data, contact you about the services we offer, and submit your CV for the role you have applied for.
