Grafters Recruit Ltd require Transport Operations Night Clerk for our clients in the Northampton area (swan valley).

DUTIES:

- administer the movement of vehicles (and associated activity) received and despatched from the site in a timely, safe and accurate standard, in line with the agreed service strategy to the JS store network

- undertake all activities in line with the KPI requirements/service agreements for that area

- be accountable for personal Health and Safety practices

- ensure that Wincanton Health and Safety policy and procedures are followed at all times

- ensure that any customer specific health and safety requirements are followed where appropriate

- assist, in conjunction with the Health and Safety Manager in resolving appropriate problems relating to health and safety and welfare matters

- help ensure appropriate action is taken to remove/reduce any significant risks or hazards identified

- raise any areas of opportunity for improvement, or concern regarding the working environment

- raise any areas of opportunity for improvement, or concern regarding the environmental issues on site

- assist in administering the service, integrity and accuracy of the WMS/transport IT systems (Isotrak, YardSmart, Tachomaster)

- maintain accurate records management

- work in accordance with agreed targets set by the Company and customer with regard to productivity, performance, accuracy, timekeeping and attendance;

- escalate appropriate issues in line with agreed procedures to Managers

- work as trained and in accordance with Company procedure with regard to all tasks undertaken within role

- welcome new starters to the site and help support them where appropriate in their work

- help resolve issues at a local level through effective team work

Shifts available:

3 nights on 3 nights off or 4 nights on 4 nights off

Nights 18:00-06:00

Pay rate:

Night - £15.43per hour

Overtime Nights after 48 hours - £23.15 per hour

Bank holiday Nights - £30.86 per hour

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

-Office 365 experience

-Transport office experience
