We're looking for a Transport Administrator to join our dynamic supply chain team within a leading FMCG business. About the Role This is a pivotal role focused on the administrative side of transport operations . While our transport is handled by a third-party logistics partner, you'll act as the vital link between internal teams, hauliers, and customers-ensuring smooth, cost-effective deliveries every day. Responsibilities: Process daily customer orders and compile the transport diary Coordinate and communicate delivery schedules to hauliers Plan loads and optimises routing Track daily transport costs, fuel usage, and report discrepancies Update SAP systems with transport and cost data Ensure we're getting value for money-no unexpected costs or overcharges Customer Interaction Around 40% of your role will support our Customer Service team , helping to: Liaise with customers on order delays, shortages,...
