Transaction Management - Data Analyst (Contract)

Working with a Private Markets Investment Management firm who are on the lookout for a Data Analyst (Contractor) to work in their Transaction Management team. They are a mid-sized firm with a split between: Private Equity, Credit and Real Assets.

This is a middle office role focused on:

• Data Entry
• Transaction Management Controls
• Transaction Operating Models, Processes & Improvements
• Data Quality, Integrity and Governance
• Data analytics and visualisation (Excel & Power BI)

I am looking for a candidate who has worked within operations at a private markets firm and has extensive experience around Transaction Management and Data/ Analytics. You should have over 3 years Private Markets operations experience either from buy or sell side and be able to move the dial. Role responsibilities will involve:

• BAU Transaction Management work
• Operating Model and Process improvement in Transaction Management
• Investigating breaks and why they have occurred
• Approval of bookings and payments
• Change and Transformation - moving from VBA to Power BI
• Working with senior stakeholders within the business
• Working with on shore, offshore and 3 rd party teams.

This is a 6-month contract initially with the opportunity to go permanent afterwards. 2 days per week required out of the London office. Rate on offer is dependent on experience, but the contract would be Inside IR35 via umbrella.
