The Role – Training Officer / Care Trainer As the appointed Training Officer , you will: Deliver induction and mandatory training to new care staff Lead NAPPI (de-escalation & restrictive physical intervention) training Deliver Safeguarding, Autism Awareness, MCA & DoLS, Mental Health Awareness Provide Emergency First Aid at Work, Manual Handling, Health & Safety and Fire Marshal training Maintain robust training records aligned with CQC standards Conduct training needs analysis Improve and enhance existing training materials Support services during crisis situations from a NAPPI perspective This is an office-based Training Officer position in Leicester, with occasional travel to the South East. Flexibility is required to meet service needs. About You To succeed in this Training Officer role, you will: Hold a recognised training qualification (AET, PTLLS or equivalent) Have experience delivering training within the care sector (strongly preferred) Have a high level of knowledge around CQC regulations Have experience delivering NAPPI or restrictive physical intervention training Be confident facilitating diverse groups, including international staff Communicate clearly and professionally Whether your current title is Training Officer , Care Trainer , L&D Trainer , Clinical Trainer , or Behavioural Intervention Trainer , what matters is your ability to command credibility and raise standards.
