We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our fast-paced manufacturing team as a Trainee Sewing Machinist at DFS. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in the upholstery industry and develop your skills within a supportive environment. As a Trainee Sewing Machinist, you will be working closely with experienced machinists to learn the techniques and skills required to create high-quality upholstery for our furniture range. You will receive on-the-job training to operate industrial sewing machines, and youll be responsible for stitching and assembling various fabric components to help create beautiful, durable furniture pieces. You will play an important role in ensuring that every product meets DFSs high standards for quality and craftsmanship. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment. As you progress in the role, you will gain the skills and experience needed to take on more responsibility and develop into a fully qualified sewing machinist.
