Trainee Regional Seed Manager

We are looking for a Trainee Regional Seed Manager to join the Frontier team, based at Lutton, near Peterborough, on a permanent full-time basis.
At the heart of this position is relationship management. You will have daily interaction with farmers and agricultural businesses, both face-to-face and over the phone. While the role primarily focuses on mobile seed cleaning, it also encompasses seed sales across certified seed and environmental crops.
This could be an ideal role for a graduate who is looking for their first role within the commercial agricultural sector or someone with experience in the commercial world who is looking for their first role within the industry.

Good agricultural knowledge or a degree in agriculture is preferred but not essential as training will be provided for the right candidate
Your Role
As a Trainee Regional Seed Manager your role will involve:
Managing day-to-day seed production planning
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, with a focus on growing our mobile seed processing services and seed sales
Identifying and generating new business opportunities
Understanding customer needs and proposing tailored solutions
Managing proposals, negotiating terms, and successfully closing sales
Demonstrating flexibility and a positive, proactive approach to meet seasonal production demands, particularly during harvest
Fully engaging in training and development to support performance and career progression
