The Role - Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Cold calling - potential clients and candidates, whilst also dealing with the rejection that can take place as a result of this
Guiding candidates through the process - offering advice and support on different stages of the process whilst also being responsible for any negotiations that may subsequently take place
Attending client meetings - visiting clients offices to gain a greater understanding of the certain characteristics they are after in their new hires
Researching your sector in depth - c onstantly undergoing further research in the particular sector to make sure you stay up to date with any new developments that occur
Business Development - cold calling potential companies to pitch the services you can provide and trying to bring them onboard as a new client to create active roles for yourself to fill
