The Role – Trainee Project Manager The Trainee Project Manager will support the delivery of schemes ranging from £10k to £2m, working across civil engineering and M&E projects. The role involves close collaboration with Project Managers and internal teams including Commercial, Operations, Compliance, and Engineering. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in planning and delivering multiple projects across the UK (London to Derby and beyond) * Support site coordination, documentation, and progress reporting * Attend site visits to monitor works and ensure compliance * Contribute to procurement, cost control, and commercial processes * Help maintain project schedules, risk registers, and quality standards * Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors * Uphold safety and compliance across all project activities * Build capability to progress into a full Project Manager position The Right Person This role suits an ambitious, organised individual looking to build a career in project management Requirements: * A Level qualification as a minimum * Experience not essential * Key is that you want to train to be a Project Manager * Enthusiasm to learn, develop, and take on responsibility * Willingness to work flexibly — not a clock‑watching environment * Comfortable with national travel and occasional weekend/night work * Interest in civil engineering and M&E within rail, airports, and energy To apply, please contact Sally Whittingham or submit your application online
