This is a trainee Motor Vehicle Mechanics Tutor post for a qualified and experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic. No teaching experience is required for this post and full teacher training and support is provided.Are you a fully qualified and time served Motor Vehicle Mechanic/Automotive Technician? Could you be interested in a Motor Vehicle Mechanics teaching position? Balance Education is currently working with a client based in Milton Keynes that is looking for a Tutor to teach technical short courses to experienced automotive learners. Our client is willing to take on a qualified mechanic/technician with main dealer industry experience and support them with teacher training.Package and Benefits:-- Starting Salary - £40,942 inclusive of Car Allowance (£37,000 + £3,942)- Top End Salary - £47,802 inclusive of Car Allowance (£43,860 + £3,942)- Training and development programme- 33 days paid holiday- PensionEssential experience and qualifications:-- A Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle- At least 5 years experience as an automotive mechanic or technician in the industry.- A keen interest to work in education.- Main Dealer Experience- Technically Qualified- EV Qualified (preferred)Job Description:-Monday to FridayPermanent - Full-timeProvide technical training to experienced motor vehicle learners in both workshop and classroom environments. Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided.
