Company description This position provides a unique opportunity for a candidate with electrical and/or IT hardware and software qualifications to train to become a fully skilled DR X-ray Field Service Engineer. An FSE performs technical support for Agfa Healthcares imaging products. The employee will be based from home and will be trained in-house to be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment. The individual must be customer focused at all times, must be prepared to work alone and as part of a team, be able to interact well with colleagues, customers and third party trades in a professional and tactful manner, and in doing so present a positive image of the Company. Support and training will be provided in all modalities and will involve travel to Germany undergo face to face, hands-on product training. Travel also required within the UK to shadow skilled engineers and work with installation teams. This role will suit someone who is keen to use their electrical knowledge to develop a career in the medical equipment industry through a 3-4 year Development Plan.
