About the Role

We’re looking for a practical, hands-on person to join the team as a Delivery Driver / Trainee Field Service Assistant.

You’ll spend most of your time delivering parts and equipment to field engineers, but this is more than just a driving role. You’ll also be working alongside engineers on site — learning how to service and test diesel generators, and building the skills for a long-term future in engineering.

If you’re reliable, physically fit, and keen to learn, this could be the first step toward becoming a Field Service Engineer.

What You’ll Be Doing

Delivering parts, tools and equipment to engineers across the region Helping engineers on site with servicing, testing and maintaining generators Keeping the van clean, roadworthy and ready to go Supporting the workshop by sorting and moving parts Keeping basic delivery records and paperwork Being a friendly, helpful face of the business on every job Following health & safety procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves:

Full UK driving licence (with 3 points or less) Practical, hands-on attitude Friendly, reliable and willing to muck in Physically fit — some lifting is part of the job Eager to learn and build a long-term career

Nice-to-haves:

Previous delivery or driving experience Interest in mechanics, engineering or electrics Any technical qualifications or certificates
