Trainee Electrical Esitmator

Our client, a growing Electrical High Voltage contractor in the power utilities sector, is currently seeking a motivated Electrical Estimator (Graduate Engineer) to join their team in Castleford. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to start their career in the power distribution industry, supporting projects ranging from renewable energy solutions to overhead line projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting with the pricing and tendering for new queries and projects
Working alongside the operations manager to ensure accurate cost assessments
Participating in project estimations from LV to 11kV, with potential to progress to 132kV levels
Preparing comprehensive and competitive bid proposals for potential clients

Job Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Electronic & Electrical Engineering, or Power Systems Engineering)
Understanding of high voltage systems and electrical engineering principles
Interest in developing a career in estimating or design within the power utilities sector
Full right to work in the UK

Desirable Requirements:

Some exposure to administrative roles or estimating
LV to 11kv experience
Full clean driving licence (ideal but not essential)
