Trainee Credit Controller

Our client, based in Warwickshire, is a leading business providing consumer products and services. They are now seeking a Trainee Credit Controller to join their finance team on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in credit management, debtor accounts, and customer account support. Full training will be provided, making this role perfect for candidates eager to develop a career in finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in monitoring customer accounts and flag overdue payments.
Support the team in sending payment reminders via email and phone.
Help resolve basic customer queries related to invoices and payments.
Maintain accurate records of debtor accounts and assist with reconciliations.
Learn to prepare reports on debtor aging and outstanding balances for management.
Follow company credit control procedures and comply with relevant policies.
Attend training sessions to develop skills in credit management and excel. Key Skills & Experience:

No prior credit control or account experience required – full training will be provided.
Strong Excel skills & willingness to learn.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and problem solve.
Ability to work under supervision and follow processes accurately.
Positive, professional attitude when dealing with customers and colleagues. Additional Information:
