An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Assistant Bid Coordinator to join our Property Services team based in Bolton. This role provides a strong foundation for an individual looking to start their career in bid coordination, marketing, or business development. You will gain hands-on experience across the full bid lifecycle, working closely with experienced professionals and internal stakeholders across the business.The primary purpose of the role is to support the positioning of Seddon as a contractor and employer of choice through the development and delivery of high-quality, engaging content across a range of digital and offline platforms. The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the work-winning function by contributing to the preparation of professional and compelling bid submissions.Benefits:National Minimum Wage / 26 Days Holidays / Pension Scheme / Free Parking / Private Health Care / Professional Development & Training Opportunities / Free Wellbeing Initiatives such as eye care vouchers, occupational health, employee assistance programme / Ministry of Fun / Flexible Working / Online Retailer Discounts (Seddon Smartspending)What youll do:Management of the tender mailbox, including monitoring emails and distributing opportunities to relevant team members.Maintain a CRM database and ensure the information accurately reflects the opportunity status.Assisting with the formatting of prequalification questionnaires, expression of interests and capability documents.Setting up all tender related meetings (tender launches, tender adjudications and workshops).Assisting with the writing, formatting and editing of case studies.Production of presentations (soft and hard).Recording of information for inclusion in future bids.Liaise with various departments to obtain up-to-date information.Support the coordination and management of Framework KPIs.Assist in preparing Framework KPI reports and dashboards for internal and external review.Provide administrative and coordination support for internal framework launch meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and documentation.Holiday cover for Property Services Admin mailbox.Have you got what it takes:Excellent communications skills, including writing, editing, and speaking; ability to communicate simply and effectively.Ability to work as part of a team with demonstrable initiative and enthusiasm.Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.Excellent IT skills across the Microsoft package as well as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.Confident and outgoing personality.Well organised with excellent attention to detail.Self-motivated with Excellent time management and organisational skills.Competent using Premier Pro, After Effects and other video editing software (not essential).Creative, flexible and able to work well with others.Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.JBRP1_UKTJ
