An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Account Manager to join a well-established professional services business in the local area. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop a long-term career in a client-facing environment, with structured training and clear progression into an Account Manager or advisory role.
You will support senior colleagues with the day-to-day management of client accounts, gaining hands-on experience while developing strong commercial, organisational, and relationship management skills.
The Role:
This position is predominantly office-based, particularly during the initial training period. You will work closely with experienced team members to support client servicing, administration, and account coordination, learning how to manage client relationships effectively and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative and client service support to Account Managers
* Assist with the preparation of reports and client documentation
* Support renewals, contracts, and general account administration
* Liaise with external providers and internal stakeholders
* Maintain accurate client records and ensure service standards are met
* Develop an understanding of client needs and service delivery
About You:
* Strong interest in developing a career in account management or client services
* Previous office, administration, or customer service experience beneficial but not essential
* Highly organised with good attention to detail
* Confident communicator with a professional approach
* Willingness to learn and take on responsibility
* Comfortable working in an office-based environment, particularly during training
