Traffic Marshall Wanted - Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Randstad is looking for a sharp, proactive Traffic Marshall to join a high-energy project in Tunbridge Wells. This site is extremely busy with constant delivery turnarounds, so we need someone who can take control and keep the flow moving safely.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

Starting Monday, 30th March, you will be the "eyes and ears" of the site entrance. Your duties will include:

Traffic Management: Safely directing site traffic, plant machinery, and delivery lorries in and out of the gate.

Public & Neighbour Liaison: Acting as a professional first point of contact. You must be confident and competent when communicating with the general public and local neighbours to ensure minimal disruption.

Banking Duties: Assisting drivers with blind spots and ensuring pedestrian safety during vehicle maneuvers.

Logistics Coordination: Checking delivery schedules and ensuring lorries are turned around quickly to prevent congestion on local roads.

Security & Access: Monitoring the gate to ensure only authorised personnel and vehicles enter the site.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

Valid Tickets: A current CSCS Card AND a dedicated Traffic Marshal/Banksman ticket, NPORS or CPCS (not essential)

Experience: Ability to handle a high-volume site and provide 2 professional finishing references.

Compliance: Full Eligibility to work in the UK and your own full PPE.

Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a firm but polite manner.
