The Role


THIS ROLE IS A CONTRACT POSITION


The Trade Settlements Analyst will join an established Asset Management firm, and is expected to cover all operational aspects of Trade Matching and Settlements, both pre-matching and late settlements.

The Trade Settlements Analyst will be responsible for trade matching across asset classes with eternal counterparties – there of a stronger focus on Equities.

The Trade Settlements Analyst is to assist with management of failed trades, liaising with clients and brokers to help rectify such problems.

The Trade Settlements Analyst will be responsible for raising manually instructing non STP trades.

The Trade Settlements Analyst is to maintain Omgeo Alert and SS&C databases in respect of standard settlement instructions as well as maintaining Fund/Country settlement matrix of permitted markets per managed accounts.

The Trade Settlements Analyst will produce daily processing of subscriptions and redemptions across funds, as well as Ad Hoc project work when needed.


The Candidate

Trade Settlements / Trade Matching experience with an Operational understanding of equities

A working knowledge of Omgeo CTM or experience of similar trade matching system is essential.

Experience of the LVTS Longview Portfolio Management System & Beauchamp Accounting System would be an advantage, but not essential

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work in a team and to communicate clearly.

Willing to take responsibility and show commitment to the role.

Quick learner, able to pick up new information.
