I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing business operating within the solar and home improvement sector. The company works closely with trade partners across windows, doors, roof replacements, conservatories and associated home improvement products, and is now looking to appoint an experienced Trade Sales Manager to drive regional growth and strengthen trade relationships.
The Role
As Trade Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing trade accounts across your designated territory. The role is focused on building long-term partnerships with installers, window and door specialists, roofing contractors, and home improvement businesses.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing and developing an existing portfolio of trade accounts
*
Identifying and securing new business opportunities within the window, door and home improvement sector
*
Promoting solar solutions alongside roof replacements, conservatories and related installations
*
Delivering product presentations and technical support to customers
*
Negotiating pricing, margins, and commercial agreements
*
Working closely with internal teams including operations and technical support
*
Monitoring market trends and competitor activity
*
Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a commercially astute sales professional with proven experience within the window and door industry.
You will have:

Strong background in trade sales within windows, doors, conservatories or roofline products
*
Established network within the home improvement or fenestration market
*
Proven track record in B2B trade sales and account development
*
Strong relationship-building and account management skills
*
Technical aptitude and ability to understand product specifications
*
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
*
Self-motivation and ability to manage your own territory
*
Full UK driving licence
