Trade Compliance Officer Export Control / ITAR / EARDefence / Aerospace SectorWe are seeking a Trade Compliance Officer with strong Export Control experience to join a leading engineering and defence technology organisation.This is a hands-on role focused on UK export licensing, ITAR/EAR compliance, customs regulations, and regulatory interface. You will act as the subject matter expert for export control matters across Engineering, Projects, Sales and Operations.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and submit UK export licence applications (OGEL, OIEL, SIEL, F680)Manage SPIRE / LITE administration and ECJU liaisonEnsure compliance with ITAR, EAR, ECCN classification and DDTC requirementsConduct Denied Party Screening and sanctions checks (OFAC)Support internal and external export control auditsAdvise on customs regimes (IPR, OPR, PCC) and HS classificationDeliver export control training across the businessDraft voluntary disclosures where requiredRequirements:Proven experience in Export Control / Trade ComplianceStrong knowledge of UK Export Licensing and ECJU processesPractical ITAR and EAR experienceECCN classification expertiseDefence, aerospace or controlled technology backgroundExperience preparing complex licence applicationsThis role would suit a Trade Compliance Specialist, Export Control Officer, Export Compliance Officer or International Trade Compliance professional seeking ownership and regulatory exposure within a technically advanced environment.Apply now if you have hands-on export licensing experience within defence or aerospace and are looking to take full operational ownership of trade compliance activities.JBRP1_UKTJ
